Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout based on the value of the order, the weight/volume of the products and the delivery destination. The exact shipping charge is always displayed before finalising the order.

Delivery Times

Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, the selected courier and the Customer’s destination. In general, orders are processed and dispatched within 3–5 business days, except in cases of force majeure or delays caused by the carrier.

The indicated times are for reference only and are not legally binding for CortecciSiena.

Reference formula: Product Availability + Transport Time = Total Delivery Time.

CortecciSiena works with selected couriers to ensure an optimal balance between delivery speed, service quality and shipping costs.

Receiving the Goods

Upon delivery, the Customer must carefully check:

  • that the number of packages matches the transport document;
  • that the packaging is intact, undamaged and unopened.

In case of tampering or damage, the Customer must immediately notify the courier by writing “GOODS SUBJECT TO INSPECTION – … (specify reason)” on the courier’s delivery document.

Any damage must be reported to CortecciSiena within 3 days of receiving the goods.

Failed Delivery, Storage and Re-Shipment

If the delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to reasons attributable to the Customer (incorrect or incomplete address, repeated absence, failure to collect the parcel from the pick-up point, refusal of the parcel), the shipment may be returned to CortecciSiena.

In such cases, the Customer is responsible for:

  • any storage costs applied by the courier;
  • the cost of re-shipment.

Re-shipment will only occur after full pre-payment of the related costs by bank transfer or another method indicated by CortecciSiena.

Delivery appointments or specific time-slot deliveries cannot be requested.

Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal

Customers qualifying as consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract without providing any reason within 14 days from receiving the products.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to Customers purchasing with a VAT number or for professional purposes.

How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer may:

  • submit a return request through their account on the Website (Prestashop system);
  • or send a written communication by e-mail to CortecciSiena indicating the order number, the items to be returned and Customer details.

After the request is received, CortecciSiena will send the Customer:

  • the return authorisation form;
  • the shipping instructions;
  • the mandatory courier to be used.

Returning the Products

Products must be handed over to the courier indicated by CortecciSiena within 14 days from the Customer’s communication of withdrawal. Returns sent using couriers other than the one provided will not be accepted.

Returned products must:

  • be intact, unused and undamaged;
  • be returned in the original packaging (labels, accessories, dust bags, etc.);
  • not show signs of use beyond a normal fitting;
  • include the return authorisation form provided by CortecciSiena.

The Customer is responsible for properly preparing the package until it is handed over to the courier designated by CortecciSiena.

Return Shipping Costs

Unless otherwise stated, return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

In the event of defective items or errors attributable to CortecciSiena, the return shipping costs may be refunded or covered according to the instructions provided to the Customer.

Refunds

CortecciSiena will refund the price of the returned products within 14 days from receiving the goods or from receiving proof that the Customer has shipped them back (whichever occurs first).

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, or via bank transfer if necessary (the Customer must provide their IBAN).

Original shipping costs will be refunded within the limits established by law (i.e., up to the amount of the standard shipping option originally offered).

Loss of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is void if:

  • the product has been used or damaged;
  • the original packaging or accessories are missing;
  • the product shows wear beyond normal fitting;
  • the product is returned beyond the legal deadlines.

Return Procedure via Prestashop

  1. Log in to your account on the Website.
  2. Go to “Order History”.
  3. Select the order containing the items to return.
  4. Select the items, quantities and the reason for return.
  5. Submit the request.
  6. Wait for CortecciSiena’s approval.
  7. Receive by e-mail:
    • the return authorisation form,
    • the shipping instructions,
    • and the mandatory courier to use.
  8. Prepare the package, include the return authorisation form, and hand it over to the designated courier.
